Happy New Year.
Thank you all for your support. Gwendolyn's Botánica is able to grow and build more than just a shop, but a community thanks to you!
With this New Year starting, I like to set new goals and reflect. A way I am able to stay organized with my plans, thoughts, and goals is with a planner.
My wonderful sister gifted me the Many Moons 2020 Lunar Planner for Christmas (which I highly recommend if you are looking for an interactive planner).
My favorite part about this planner is that it makes you write down steps to reach your goals, not just think about them, as well as being a daily planner.
This year I am open to the possibilities of change as BEAUTY, change as growth and change as everflowing.
Along with being open to growth, I also want to prioritize self care. Self care can be as simple as taking a nap in the day, meditating, taking a break, reading books, eating healthy etc.
I don’t know about you, but this quote resonates with me. In order to achieve these goals of self care I need to schedule them into my week. I then can hold myself accountable since I already made time for them.
Other than setting new goals and intentions, I am working on connecting with my local community. As a small business owner, I encourage and prioritize shopping locally as much as possible. This inspired me to build a group of other small business owners to connect with each other, and empower our communities.
Empower Local is a networking group for small business owners that want to spread the work about their business and connect with other small businesses owners.
Why not network? The bigger my network, the more resources I have. Win Win!
I joined forces with Eliza and Belle Boutique, an incredible, local boutique run by two sisters. We will be at the Coffee Bean, in downtown plymouth, to meet for coffee and network with other small business owners. If you have a small business, join us on Thursday, the 9th at 10am. *Bring a notebook, pen and business cards. We want to learn about you and your company.
Feel free to email me or comment below if you have any questions!
